I orginally started my art career in the animation industry, in which I worked on five full feature films as an in-betweener. It turned out to be a great asset, as it improved my speed and line work. I then went on to designing prints for T-shirts, such as Australiana designs and humorous novelty designs, all for leading T-shirt printers in Australia (under the name of 'Crazy Dave').
I then went on to pick up the airbrush, a medium with which I was so taken with the effects one could achieve, that I taught myself how to use it. I then started to adapt the airbrush to T-shirts creating my own original hand-airbrushed designs , as well as original posters. Through this I was asked to do a mural in a night-club, and from having signed the mural along with my phone number, within a short time I was inundated with mural works such as restaurants, private homes, and of course, more night clubs.
I also do many cars, bikes, boats and buses. Along with the many mural jobs, I also appear at many shows (such as Car and Bike shows, and festivals of all kinds), where I free hand airbrush custom designs on T-shirts by request.
